Job Title: Research Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated Research Nurse to join a dynamic team, where you’ll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality clinical research services in the field of gastroenterology. As a Research Nurse, you will conduct scheduled trial visits with research participants, perform vital medical procedures including ECGs and phlebotomy, and collect clinical histories and vital signs, all while ensuring adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and research protocols. Your responsibilities will also include organising and managing research diaries, contributing to clinical trials, and developing research standard operating procedures (SOPs).
With a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in gastroenterology, you will be expected to train junior staff members, assist referring clinicians with inquiries, and actively participate in both internal and external meetings, including delivering presentations of research findings at conferences. Strong ICT skills will be necessary for data inputting and managing various research documentation. As a Research Nurse, you will also maintain a high standard of customer care to all service users, ensuring clear and professional communication throughout the research process.
