Location: Central London
Salary: dependant on experience

Hours: Full-time
Start Date: asap

About the Client.

A private healthcare clinic offering a unique fusion of GP care, longevity medicine, and concierge-level service. Their philosophy blends conventional medicine, therapeutic care, and cutting-edge innovations to deliver a truly personalised, 24/7 medical experience for our high-net-worth clientele.

We are now seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Practice Manager with a strong background in CQC regulations, governance, and private healthcare operations to oversee the smooth day-to-day running of our growing practice.

Role Overview

As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership, coordination, and delivery of all non-clinical aspects of the practice. You will ensure the highest standards of service, compliance, and care in line with our philosophy and CQC standards.

This role requires a proactive, discreet, and highly organised professional with experience in the private healthcare sector — ideally within high-end, patient-focused environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring a seamless patient journey
  • Maintain full CQC compliance, including preparation for inspections and evidence collation.
  • Lead on clinical governance, audits, risk management, and infection control
  • Liaise with clinicians, external partners, and suppliers to ensure quality and continuity of service.
  • Manage staff rotas, recruitment, training, and HR functions
  • Oversee financial administration including invoicing, budgeting, and reporting (with accounts support)
  • Ensure that policies and procedures are up to date and reflect best practice and regulatory guidance.
  • Support the delivery of concierge-level service through operational excellence and discretion.
  • Work with directors on strategic planning and continuous service development
  • Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards at all times.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Practice Manager or Operations Lead in a private healthcare setting
  • Strong understanding of CQC requirements and regulatory frameworks
  • Proven experience in clinical governance, audits, and risk management
  • Exceptional organisational and leadership skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to liaise with senior clinicians, stakeholders, and VIP clients
  • Tech-savvy, with experience using medical record systems and MS Office
  • A calm, composed, and solutions-focused approach
  • Commitment to discretion, confidentiality, and high service standards

Desirable

  • Experience in concierge medicine, longevity, or wellness-based clinics
  • Background in managing multidisciplinary or boutique medical teams
  • Qualifications in health service management or compliance (e.g., AMSPAR, ILM, CQC-related CPD)
