SENIOR MEDICAL SECRETARY | PRIVATE GP PRACTICE | CHELSEA
Are you an experienced Senior Medical Secretary looking for an exciting opportunity within a prestigious private GP practice in Chelsea?
We are recruiting for a 13-month maternity cover and are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and confident working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
This is a 100% clinic-based role within a busy private GP practice. You’ll play a key role in supporting the GPs and ensuring patients receive an exceptional level of care and service.
You will need:
- 5+ years’ private medical secretarial experience
- Previous private GP practice experience preferred
- Excellent medical terminology and clinical administration skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organisation and attention to detail
- Confidence dealing with patients, consultants, hospitals and insurers
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Semble experience highly desirable
This is a highly patient-facing role within a private GP practice, so you must be professional, personable and confident, with the ability to manage a busy workload while delivering a first-class patient experience.
Experience working with Semble would be highly advantageous, particularly for candidates familiar with the demands of a busy private GP practice.

Location: Chelsea, London | 100% clinic-based
Salary: Circa £45,000 depending on experience
Hours: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:30am–6:00pm
Contract: 13-month maternity cover | Start December 2026
