Lead Nurse

Reports to: Imaging Services Manager and Medical Director

Working with: clients, clinical team and operations team

Hours: 37.5 hours/week in line with business needs, Monday to Friday usually 07.00-15.30 or 10:0018:00.

Salary: up to £50,000 depending on experience

Every member of our clinical and operation team is responsible for ensuring our clients experience 5* client service at each stage, from their initial enquiry to booking, their assessment and follow-up.  As Lead Nurse you will spend a significant amount of time with clients and will make sure they feel welcome, safe and comfortable during their assessment.  You will be extremely professional and warm with clients and colleagues, working efficiently and effectively to ensure the clinic runs smoothly on a daily basis and each client has a first-class experience with us. You will use your clinical experience to ensure the highest clinical standards are met.

 

What you are responsible for:

Meeting and greeting clients, checking them into their client suite  ,checking client forms and questionnaires are complete    confirming client ID and completing pre-assessment consent      explaining assessment details to clients ,chaperoning clients ,undertaking and overseeing observations and tests including (training given):

  • blood tests , blood pressure checks ,  temperature check   pulse oximetry , height and weight
  • body composition
  • BMI
  • hearing test o eye pressure checks ,working with the Medical Director to ensure clinical supplies are up to data ensuring the clinic runs smoothly and times are logged on the daily client flowcharts   management of healthcare assistant(s)

Assisting with, and if trained, undertaking HPV screening and smear tests

maintaining an excellent relationship with the laboratory, ensuring test results are available for  the doctors on time. Managing the client amenities (tracksuit, slippers, water bottles) and supporting the Client.

Relations Team to manage the stock levels serving client snacks, drinks and lunches, ensuring correct food handling and hygiene  preparing client suites  preparing doctor consultation rooms  ordering clinic supplies and stock taking

Carrying out clinical audits on a regular basis, in accordance with our CQC registration             respecting client confidentiality at all times , proactively promoting the clinic through exceptional client service  ensuring excellent attention to detail with all our systems and processes   encouraging client feedback

Desirable experience and qualifications:

 BSc in Nursing or equivalent with NMC registration    At least two years’ experience in a private healthcare setting

An  interest in working in a cutting-edge healthcare environment providing the highest level of client service
