Independent Nurse Prescriber – Part-Time (20 hours per week, Tue–Thu) – Central Chester
Are you an experienced nurse prescriber looking for a rewarding, varied role in central Chester? We’re seeking a confident, autonomous practitioner to join a primary care team, providing frontline clinical care to a professional adult population—no weekends required!
The Role:
- Work 20 hours per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- Manage acute and chronic conditions, minor injuries, travel health, vaccinations, and preventative care
- Run your own clinics and shape health and wellbeing initiatives
- Work closely with colleagues in a fast-paced professional environment
Experience & Skills Required:
- RGN qualification with current NMC registration and PIN
- Completion of Independent Prescribing course (essential)
- Proven experience in A&E or urgent care settings
- Skilled in minor injuries, travel health, cervical screening, ear irrigation, venepuncture, and clinical decision-making
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient-centred care
- Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload
