Experienced Bookkeeper – Private Healthcare
Full-time, Fully Remote | £45,000–£55,000 DOE
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented bookkeeper to join a leading, reputable private clinic in London. This is a full-time, fully remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage bookkeeping across two (soon to be three) related businesses.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly cashflow reports and profit & loss statements.
- Allocate and reconcile all remittances, invoices, credits, and debits in Xero.
- Collaborate with the in-house financial controller and external invoicing partners.
- Support the preparation of files for our accountancy firm.
- Assist accountants in preparing information for submission of annual accounts to HMRC.
- Handle high-volume invoices and sensitive financial information with the utmost discretion.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with small to medium-sized businesses.
- Excellent references and a demonstrable track record of reliability and accuracy.
- Proficient in Xero, Stripe (integrated with bank accounts), HubDoc; experience with Semble is a plus.
- Professional personality traits: hardworking, capable, motivated, emotionally intelligent, personable, smart, discrete, and highly professional.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with integrity.
Salary & Benefits:
- £45,000–£55,000, commensurate with experience.
- Performance-related bonus (criteria to be agreed).
