Job Title: Psychiatrist – TMS Referral Partner

Location: Harley Street (In-Person / Hybrid Remote)

Our client , located within the prestigious area on Harley Street, are pioneering the use of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) to treat chronic pain conditions, and are actively expanding into mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression.

 

Role Overview

We are looking for experienced Psychiatrists who are interested in referring patients for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatment for anxiety, depression, and other related mental health conditions. As a referral partner, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with us in providing cutting-edge care to your patients, helping them access a non-invasive treatment that has shown promising results in treating severe and treatment-resistant mental health conditions.

This partnership allows you to offer your patients a holistic treatment option while focusing on their mental health care, with the support of our experienced TMS practitioners.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Patient Referral & Collaboration:

  • Identify patients who may benefit from TMS therapy for anxiety, depression, or other mental health conditions.
  • Refer patients to the Clinic for TMS treatment, ensuring all necessary patient information is shared with our team.
  • Maintain an open line of communication with our clinic to track patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with our TMS team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Clinical Support & Guidance:

  • Offer ongoing psychiatric support to your patients while they undergo TMS treatment, including monitoring mental health improvements and addressing any concerns.
  • Help patients understand the benefits and potential outcomes of TMS therapy, and guide them through the treatment process.

Patient-Centered Care:

  • Ensure that every referral is made with the patient’s best interests in mind.
  • Provide appropriate follow-up care and treatment recommendations as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • Qualified Psychiatrist (UK or internationally accredited), with valid medical licensure.
  • Significant experience in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression.
  • A comprehensive understanding of treatment-resistant anxiety and depression, and familiarity with TMS as a treatment modality.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain treatment options to patients and colleagues.

Desirable:

  • Experience with or knowledge of TMS therapy and its application in treating mental health disorders.
  • Established practice or patient base in the mental health field.
  • Interest in collaboration and interdisciplinary care for patients.
