Role Information:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work closely with a leading group of Breast Care experts in our dedicated Enhanced Breast Screening clinic. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual, who is passionate about care and is willing to learn and work within our Women’s Health team.
- This is a great opportunity to work with a group of leading Breast specialists in our bespoke, dedicated Enhanced Breast Screening
• The role encompasses Administrative and clinical work following the patient pathway to ensure that the process is seamless for both the patient and clinicians.
• The post holder will be required to work with a multidisciplinary team. They should have excellent IT and communication skills, be flexible, organised and able to work calmly but efficiently in a very busy clinical setting. Experience of a Breast clinic or Imaging clinic is preferred.Opportunity
• We are looking for a candidate who is dedicated in providing the highest standards of care to our patients. You must have effective communication and clinical skills and must be prepared to gain extended skills and work collaboratively to meet the needs of the service.
• Some of your day-to-day duties will include:
o Supporting patients before, during and after procedures and always maintain patient dignity
o Prepare rooms at the start and at the end of the day – stock monitoring
o Help to maintain high standards of cleanliness of equipment and accessories in the clinical rooms
o Assisting the Radiologists and Mammographers with sterile procedures
o Ensuring that all necessary information is captured prior to clinics; working alongside Administrative team to assist with bookings; monitoring results to ensure continuation of patient pathway
o Preparing Multi-Disciplinary lists and outcomes of discussions.
o Working with all members of the Women’s Health team to assist in the chaperoning and efficient movement of patients around the centre.
o Liaising with other Centres and external medical staff where appropriate

Education and Qualifications
• Secondary education (essential)
• Willing to develop knowledge and skill set within the healthcare framework (essential)
• Demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills (essential)
• Computer literate (essential)
• NVQ level 2 or equivalent experience (desirable)
Experience
• At least a year’s experience of working within a healthcare environment (essential)
• Working in an Imaging Centre or Breast unit (desirable)
