Practice/Clinic Manager required for Private Clinic in Berkhamsted

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive manager to join the team to help them to shape the future of the clinic`s services.
All applicants must be able to provide vision and have experience in managing in a private medical environment. Candidates must have strong organisational skills, as well as excellent customer relationship skills.
The successful applicant must be energetic and a quick learner with the ability to multitask as well as integrate with the team.
Essential skills include:
- Must be competent in building, supervising, and leading a team
- Managerial and business experience within a medical practice
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency in the use of basic mainstream Microsoft software
- Aware of CQC requirements and how to manage regulated activities
- Ideally have a clinical understanding to aid checking of correspondence
- Clinical experience desirable
- All applicants must speak and write impeccable English and be eligible to work in the United Kingdom and have a valid work visa
Key duties:
- Proactively marketing the practice to drive patient and medical practitioners numbers.
- Supporting clinicians to achieve their personal and practice goals
- Planning income targets for practice, then reviewing and analysing profit and loss to ensure you achieve or exceed.
- Proactively marketing the practice to drive patient numbers
- Ensuring the practice meets CQC and legislative guidelines.
- Become the CQC Registered Manager
- Actively manage patients’ emails and phone inquiries to ensure optimum customer service, satisfaction levels and effective throughput.
- Day to day site management
- HR management including keeping practitioners’ CQC required documents up to date
- Complaints handling
- Proficiency in use of diary management software (ideally DGL but training will be given)
- Ensuring clinic is complying with Health & Safety and Data protection regulations and internal policies and procedures
- Monthly reporting on stats, revenue etc to director
- Ensure invoicing and payment dealt with efficiently. Follow up on outstanding fees from clients and insurance companies
- To assist with all administrative processes relevant to the practice, including maintaining stationary, consumables and medicines stock levels
- Organise for clinical samples collection
- Ensure clinical rooms and premisses are well maintained
In addition you will:
- Act as a representative for the practice at professional meetings and networking opportunities
- Work with director in the implementation and origination of marketing strategies and materials (including mail shots, website and social media)
Salary: £35,000 depending on experience
Hours: 40hrs Monday – Friday but including some weekends
Start date: Early July 2022
Location: Berkhamsted and West London
